【Body 1】

In 1998, only 1% of women got married between 16 and 19, and there were no changes to this figure until 2008. However, no men chose to start a family at this age group in these two years. In both years, more females than males decided to enter into a marriage between the ages of 20 and 30. Especially, the largest proportions of both men and women decided to get married between 26 and 30 in the initial year, with the figure of 13% and 15% respectively. Subsequently, a marginal decline by 2% could be found in these two figures.

【Body 2】

In terms of the rest age groups, we can see that originally, the same percentage of men and women decided to get married between the ages of 31 and 35(13%). Afterwards, the gender gap expanded as the figure for men witnessed a dramatic growth to 14%, while the proportion of women declined slightly by 3%. In 1998, the percentage of men aged 35-40(11%) was slightly larger than the figure for women. Then, in 2008, the figures for both genders experienced a noticeable drop but the percentage of females overtook their male counterparts.
