雅思考试对标点有要求吗？

雅思考试对标点当然是有要求的，尤其是在写作GRA 评分项中，明确要求如下：

5分：punctuation may be faulty; errors can cause some difficulty for the reader（标点错误困扰读者）

6分：make some errors in punctuation but they rarely reduce communication（标点错误不致读者误解）

7分：produce frequent error-free sentences; has good control of punctuation but may make a few errors（极少标点错误）

什么时候可以用分号呢？
