一文掌握考研英语翻译常考的强调词句！

强调句是考研英语翻译很重要的考察点，今天这篇文章会带大家梳理常考的几种强调表达在翻译里的处理方式。

Part 01
“It is…that…”译为“正是”
最常见的就是语法结构中的强调句“It is…that…”句型，翻译时译为“正是”。譬如2013年英语一翻译： 
It is this implicit or explicit reference to nature that fully justifies the use of the word garden, though in a “liberated” sense, to describe these synthetic constructions.
正是这种对自然的含蓄或明确的提及，充分证明了“花园”这个词的使用是正当的，尽管在一种“解放”的意义上，用来描述这些综合建筑。 

Part 02
“very”译为“正是”
其他的属于常见的表示强调的词，譬如very作为形容词来修饰名词，exactly和precisely这俩副词来修饰动词，以及alone作为形容词位于名词或者代词后面表示强调。 
2008年英语一翻译：very译为“正是”He believes that this very difficulty may have had the compensating advantage of forcing him to think long and intently about every sentence, and thus enabling him to detect errors in reasoning and in his own observations.
他认为或许正是这种困难，他不得不对自己要说的每句话都经过长时间的认真思考，从而能发现自己在推理和观察中的错误，结果这反而成为他的优点。

Part 03 
“alone”译为“仅仅……就”
2005年翻译：alone译为“仅仅……就”This alone demonstrates that the television business is not an easy world to survive in, a fact underlined by statistics that show that out of eighty European television networks, no less than 50% took a loss in 1989.仅仅这点就表明，要在电视行业里生存下来并非易事，统计数字尤其说明了这一事实，在80家欧洲电视网中，多达一半在1989年亏损。

Part 04
“precisely”译为“正是” 
2014年英一翻译：precisely译为“正是”I believe it is precisely this permanent coexistence of metaphysical message through physical means that is the strength of music.
我相信，正是这种形而上学的信息通过物理手段的共存，才是音乐的力量。
需要注意的是这句话中也有强调句It is …that…，出现这种两次强调的句子，翻译的时候减译其中一个，只需强调一次“正是”即可。

Part 05 
“exactly”译为“恰好” 
2014年英二翻译：exactly译为“恰好”But that’s exactly the kind of false cheerfulness that positive psychologists wouldn’t recommend.
但这恰好是积极心理学家不推荐的那种虚假的快乐。
总而言之，表示强调的句型和词汇如“It is…that…/very/precisely”都是译为“正是”, alone强调代词或者名词时译为“仅仅……就……”, exactly表示强调时译为“恰好”。
